“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:12 NKJV)

❖ GREATER QUANTITY OF QUALITY WORK

1. STOP OBSERVING, START FORWARD THINKING

And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you
saw Him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:10-11 NKJV)

2. START THINKING “IT’S CHANGING

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7 NKJV)

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (Romans 8:5 NKJV)

Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil. (Jeremiah 13:23 KJV)

Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. but what do You say?" (John 8:5 NKJV)

When JESUS had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And JESUS said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." (John 8:10-11 NKJV)

Series: GETTING AN EARLY START

“Receiving Sooner Blessings!”

THE BLESSING CAN TURN INTO A CURSE IN THE HANDS OF THE UNPREPARED.

5 BLESSING BLOCKERS:

1.    IMMATURE:  “I shouldn’t do it, but I did it.”

A certain man had two sons. The younger son said to his father, “Father, give me my share of the inheritance.”
(Luke 15:11-12 CEB)

2.    DISCONTENT:  “I’d rather have that.”

Soon afterward, the younger son gathered everything together and took a trip to a land far away.
(Luke 15:13 CEB)

3.    IRRESPONSIBLE:  “I don’t care about it.”

There, he wasted his wealth through extravagant living.  When he had used up his resources, a severe food shortage rose across in that country and he began to be in need.
(Luke 15:13-14 CEB)

4.    HARD-HEAD:  “I’m not doing it.”

He hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who set him into his fields to feed pigs.  He longed to e...

“Heee's Baaack!”

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and preparea a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself,” (John 14:1-3 NKJV)

1.    LIVE AS IF HE’S ON HIS WAY.

“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
(Matthew 24:44 NKJV)

•    JESUS SHOULD NEVER BE AN UNEXPECTED GUEST.

2.    REDEEM THE TIME, DON’T WASTE IT.

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5: 15-16 NKJV)

3 WAYS TO “REDEEM THE TIME”
•    LESS THERAPY, MORE HUGS.
•    LESS FACEBOOK, MORE FACE IN “HIS BOOK!”

Series: CATCH THE FIRE & CARRY HIS FLAME”

"Fellowship with Fire!"

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
(Hebrews 10:24-25 NLT)

FELLOWSHIP LESSONS

1.    DON’T ISOLATE YOURSELF FROM OTHERS OR THE CHURCH.

After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go…Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road.
(Luke 10:1, 3-4 NKJV)

2.    HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH PEOPLE ON FIRE FOR GOD.

Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the L...

“And do this, knowing the time, that NOW it is high time to awake out of sleep; for NOW our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” (Romans 13:11 NKJV)

5 SHIFTS THAT MUST TAKE PLACE

Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. (Genesis 6:14 NKJV)

Series: Baggage and Burdens

"HAVING A BURDEN REMOVER!"

2 TYPES OF BURDENS

SELF-INFLICTED BURDEN

GOD-INFLICTED BURDEN = THE BURDEN OF THE CROSS.

I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.  Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.  But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,”

 (2 Corinthians 12:7-9 NIV)

HE WILL HELP YOU CARRY THE BURDEN!

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

(Matthew 11:28-30 NASB)

HOW TO FIND RELIEF IN GODLY BURDENS:

1. BRING THE BURDEN BACK TO JESUS.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

(Matthew 11:28 NASB)

2. “YOKE-UP” WITH JESUS.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart...
