Series: Hope Renewed
"When Your Plans are Shattered”
“My best days have passed, my plans are shattered, and my heart’s desires are broken…Where then is my hope? Can anyone SEE any hope for me?” (Job 17:11 & 15)
“I have set the LORD continually before me…” (Psalm 16:8 NASB)
1. SET THE LORD IN FRONT OF YOU, AND FOCUS ON HIM
“Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…” (James 4:7-8 NASB)
2. PUT YOUR SHATTERED PLANS IN GOD’S HANDS, AND TRUST HIM
“The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.” (Psalm 16:5&6 NASB)
3. A SHINING STAR WILL APPEAR
“…For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.” (Matthew 2:2 NASB)
“There are three things that will endure – faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love.” (I Corinthians 13:13 NLT)
