“The Threshold to Greatness!”

Threshold: A point or place of beginning or entering.

Greatness: Big; mighty; beyond average; markedly superior.

“For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise…” (Psalm 96:4 NIV)

“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours…” (I Chronicles 29:11 NLT)

2018: “YEAR OF GREATNESS”!

“…whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well…” (John 5:4 NASB)

1. THRESHOLD OF GREATNESS IS A MILEPOST, NOT A HITCHING POST

• STEP INTO GREATNESS

“…God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, ‘Moses, Moses!’ And he said, ‘Here I am.’” (Exodus 3:4 NASB)

2. GOD IS CALLING YOUR NAME TOWARDS HIS GREATNESS

• MAKE UP YOUR MIND

• ANSWER THE CALL

3. CLOSE THE DOOR TO YOUR PAST

“…if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.” (Hebrews 11:15 NASB)

“Then He said, ‘Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for this place on which you are standing is holy ground’” (Exodus 3:5 NASB)

4. REMOVE YOUR LEAD SANDALS

“…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” (Hebrews 12:1 NKJ)
