"And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” "
(Genesis 2:18 NKJV)
"But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place – unless you repent."
(Revelation 2:4-5 NASB)
1. RECOGNIZE THE SEPARATION CAUSED BY SIN.
"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2 NKJV)
LEFT LOVE DOES NOT MEAN LOST LOVE.
2. REMEMBER THERE’S NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE ORIGINAL.
"It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery." (Galatians 5:1 NASB)
3. REPENT AND RECOMMIT YOUR DEVOTION TO CHRIST.
"Repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place – unless you repent." (Revelation 2:5 NASB)
