“Catch You At A Bad Time?"

A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down, and a time to build up;” (Ecclesiastes 3:3 NKJV)

  • T.I.M.E.: THINGS I MAY ENJOY

“You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment…” (Matthew 5:21, 22 NLT)

1. BE CAREFUL OF THE BLAME GAME!

“Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.” (Genesis 3:11, 12 NLT)

Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.” (Genesis 3: 13 NLT)

2. AVOID A PERMANENT SOLUTION TO A TEMPORARY PROBLEM!

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18 NKJV)

“For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.” (Hebrews 13:14 NLT)

3. THERE IS OPPORTUNITY IN THE INCONVENIENCE!

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.” (Ephesians 5:15, 16 NLT)

  4. It is toxic if we allow offense to fester within our hearts. We need to spend more time LOVING and EDIFYING.Give examples of how we can do both?
