“Shout It Out!"

“Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!” Psalms 47:1 NLT

  • SHOUT: (v) utter a loud call or cry, typically as an expression of a strong emotion. (n) a loud cry expressing a strong emotion or calling attention.

  • “To Praise God is to call attention to HIS Glory!!”

"WHY SHOULD WE SHOUT??”

1. REASON #1: IT’S A REFLECTION OF YOUR TESTIMONY AND A RESPONSE TO WHAT HE’S DONE!!

“Now the gates of Jericho were tightly shut because the people were afraid of the Israelites. No one was allowed to go out or in.” Joshua 6:1 NLT

  • WHAT’S YOUR “IT”?? TESTIMONY!!

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:11 NKJV

2. REASON #2: IT’S AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER UP WITH GOD AND WITNESS THE MIRACULOUS WORK OF FAITH!!

“You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”” Joshua 6:3-5 NKJV

3. REASON #3: THE VICTORY HAS ALREADY BEEN WON, THROUGH PROMISE!!

“But the Lord said to Joshua, “I have given you Jericho, its king, and all its strong warriors.” Joshua 6:2 NLT

“So the Lord made a covenant with Abram that day and said, “I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River—” Genesis 15:18 NLT

  1. What is your “IT” (Testimony) that helps you SHOUT??

  2. Does your Praise and Worship (Shout) Reflect your testimony?? Do you feel that it’s a proper response??

  3. Share of a time when you chose “Faith” over “Logic” in battle. What was the outcome??

  4. Is there a Promise Land in your sight?? Has God promised you something, that’s going to require a great Shout of Praise??
