“Promise Made, Promise Kept"

1. GOD’S PROMISES ARE YES AND AMEN!

“… as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not ‘Yes’ and ‘No’, but in him it has always been ‘Yes’. For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.” (2 Corinthians 1:18-20 NIV)

• BELIEVE YOUR AMEN IS ON ITS’ WAY

2. REMIND GOD OF WHAT HE PROMISED

“…you who (are His servants and by your prayers) put the Lord in remembrance (of His promises), keep not silence. And give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6-7 AMP)

“…children of the promise…” (Romans 9:8 NASB)

3. BE PERSISTENT AND PRESENT YOUR CASE

“…if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.” (Luke 11:8 NLT)

“Present your case, the Lord says. Bring forward your strong arguments…” (Isaiah 41:21 NASB)

EXAMPLES:

“God, You promised that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Here’s MY EVIDENCE: ISAIAH 54:17.”

“God, You promised that when I TITHE, You will OPEN THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN, and pour out blessings until it overflows” - Here’s MY EVIDENCE: MALACHI 3:10”

“God, You promised that an excellent wife is the crown of her husband. How can I get the crown if you don’t give me an excellent wife. Here’s MY EVIDENCE: PROVERBS 12:4.
