WAITING FOR THE PROMISE

"Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.” (Romans 15:4, NLT)
“But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” (Romans 8:25, ESV)
1.) PROMISE DELAYED, DOESN’T MEAN PROMISE DENIED
“So the LORD must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God.
Blessed are those who wait for his help.” (Isaiah 30:18, NLT)
2.) HAVE FAITH IN THE MIDDLE
“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” (Hebrews 10:36, NLT)
3.) GOD WILL NOT DISAPPOINT
“Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word.” (Hebrews 10:23, The Message)
“And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.” (Hebrews 6:15, NASB)
