BOUNDED BY LOVE

“WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?"

“BOUNDED BY LOVE"

♱♡♱♡♱♡♱

“(Love) does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:6-7, NKJV)

Bounded • place within certain limits; restrict: freedom of action is bounded by law.

1.) LOVE DOES NOT CELEBRATE SIN NOR DOES IT TOLERATE SIN

“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14, NASB)

“Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.” (2 Timothy 2:22, NLT)

“That grace instructs us to give up ungodly living and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this world,” (Titus 2:12, GNB)

2.) LOVE SILENTLY ENDURES AND COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SIN

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” (James 1:12, NLT)

“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8, NLT)

3.) LOVE SEES THE TRUTH OF YOUR CREATED VALUE

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27, ESV)

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” (Psalm 139:14, NKJV)

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, ESV)
