PRE-WORD

“THE WORD OF LIFE!”
“Pre-Word!"
♱♱♱♱♱♱♱♱
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:24–27, NASB)
GOD’S WORD PREPARES (PRE-PARES)
1.) THE WISE ACTS ON THE PRE-WORD WHILE IT’S PRE-STORM
“But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” (James 1:22, NLT)
➢ ACT ON THE PRE-WORD BY FAITH
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5, NASB)
2.) WE WILL ALL ENCOUNTER COMMON STORMS
“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.” (Matthew 7:25, NASB)
“No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13, The Message)
“So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.” (2 Peter 2:9, NLT)
3.) THE PRE-WORD CAN HELP PREVENT DESTRUCTION
“The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:27, NASB)
“When the storm is over, there’s nothing left of the wicked; good people, firm on their rock foundation, aren’t even fazed.” (Proverbs 10:25, The Message)
“Remember, there is only one foundation, the one already laid: Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11, The Message)
