SHEPHERD & SHEEP

HEAR FROM GOD
“Shepherd And Sheep”
“THE LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the Valley of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:1-6 NKJ)
l EVERY SHEEP NEEDS A SHEPHERD
“And what pity he felt for the crowds that came, because their problems were so great and they didn’t know what to do or where to go for help. They were like sheep without a shepherd.” (Matthew 9:36 LB)
THE SHEPHERD LAYS DOWN HIS/HER LIFE FOR THE SHEEP
“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” (John 10:14-15 NASB)
l SHEEP TRUSTS THEIR SHEPHERD
“But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:26-27 NASB)
SHEEP HEARS AND KNOWS THE VOICE OF THEIR SHEPHERD, AND FOLLOW
“…the sheep follow him because they know his voice.” (John 10:4 NASB)
“…the LORD called Samuel; and he said, ‘Here I am’. Then he ran to Eli and said, ‘Here I am, for you called me’. But he said, ‘I did not call, lie down again.’ So he went and lay down.” (I Samuel 3:4-5 NASB)
“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.” (Hebrews 13:17 NASB)
l SHEEP DO NOT LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF A STRANGER
“A stranger they simply will not follow, but flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” (John 10:5 NASB)
DON’T ALLOW “ENMITY” TO COME BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR SHEPHERD
“And they took offense at Him…And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.” (Matthew 13:57&58 NASB)
