FLOURISHING WITH JOY

TURNING TRIALS INTO TRIUMPH!

A Journey into JAMES Chapter 1

FLOURISHING WITH JOY!

James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings.

(James 1:1 NKJV)

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

(James 1:2 NKJV)

  1. COUNT EVERY MOMENT AS AN OCCASION FOR JOY!

knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

(James 1:3 NKJV)

  1. TAKE JOY IN KNOWING THAT GOD IS INVOLVED!

“Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

(Job 2:10 NKJV)

  • TO STRETCH & STRENGTHEN FAITH

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

(James 1:4 NKJV)

  1. TAKE JOY FOR GOD IS FAITHFUL TO MOLD YOU TO MATURITY

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

(Philippians 1:6 NASB)
