  • WEARY MEANS: EXHAUSTED, FATIGUED, OVERWORKED, TIRED, IMPATIENT, SLEEPY, BEAT, FED UP, READY TO DROP

1. RELEASE AND RECEIVE GODS PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

2. SELF REST AND SOUL REST IN JESUS

"Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.'" Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

"Take My yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." Matthew 11:29 (NLT)

  • YOKE MEANS: A DEVICE FOR JOINING TOGETHER A PAIR OF DRAFT ANIMALS, ESPECIALLY OXEN, USUALLY CONSISTING OF A CROSSPIECE WITH TWO BOW-SHAPED PIECES, EACH ENCLOSING THE HEAD OF THE ANIMAL

3. JESUS WANTS TO LIGTHT-EN YOUR LOAD

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1 (NLT)

4. BE PATIENT FOR THE PROMISE

"So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up." Galatians 6:9 (NLT)
