Sow in Tears, Reap in Joy by Pastor Bam Lauvao

Being Blessed in Crisis

SOW IN TEARS, REAP IN JOY

JOY IS ATTRACTIVE BECAUSE:

  • JOY BEATS UP BOREDOM

  • JOY WASHES AWAY WORRY

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

(Psalm 126:5 NKJV)

1. KEEP YOUR EYES WET, BUT YOUR JOY FORWARD

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

(Hebrews 12:2 NKJV)

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;”

(Psalm 16:11 NKJV)

2. LAUGH IN BETWEEN

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.”

(Proverbs 17:22 NASB)

Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.”

(Psalm 30:15 NASB)

“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,”

(Psalm 30:11 NKJV)
