Launching into Victory


1. OUR BROKENNESS IS NOT A LID BUT A LAUNCHING PAD!

"You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise." (Psalm 51:16-17 NIV)

  • Brokenness places us in a genuine posture of worship!

  • Brokenness allows us to testify to the goodness of God!

2. GOD WILL STRETCH YOU BEFORE HE LAUNCHES YOU!

"When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, 'Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.'" (Luke 5:4 NKJV)

3. GOD IS PREPARING YOU FOR WHAT HE PREPARED FOR YOU!

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

  • Share a time of brokenness to which you were able to testify to the goodness of God.

  • How far are you willing to allow God to stretch you? And is He currently stretching you?

  • God has an amazing plan for all of us. How are you currently preparing?
