Dear Friends and Family (Ohana):
Whenever I get sick (which, thankfully is not often), I am reminded of how fragile my body and this life really is. Yet, it’s in those “sick” times that I’m also reminded that God is my Healer; He is the GREAT PHYSICIAN!
It’s in those times when I am weak, I can get re-acquainted with HIS STRENGTH! It’s in those times when I feel helpless, the world may try to sell me on the “power of the pill” – but, God reminds me of the “power of prayer”…especially the prayer power of the saints!
“Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.” (James 5:14-15)
Our PASTORS (myself included), LEADERS, & PRAYER TEAM will be contending for healing, and conducting HEALING PRAYERS as part of this week’s WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE! Although he’s not personally here at our church, we’ll also lift up PASTOR WAYNE CORDEIRO in our prayers, who recently, and in such genuineness communicated that he has been diagnosed with cancer.
Then, on SUNDAY, I will be sharing a message titled “SOUL HEALTH”! We’ll also be praying over our MISSIONS team, who will be going to AUSTRALIA (August 22-September 3) to serve, and touch people’s lives with the GOOD NEWS! Don’t miss it!
Our amazing Mission’s Team, lead by ROGER & MYRA RAMOS - took on a SALVATION CHALLENGE in July which resulted in 58 salvations outside the walls of our church! Also, in our effort to extend New Hope to the world, 60 backpacks were donated to 60 orphans in PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI for their upcoming school year (see cover photo)!
Our KANGEN water is helping so much people with their health that people from other churches are coming to our church to get gallons! One person told me that since they started drinking “Kangen” water (at least half their body weight in ounces) every day - their blood pressure, cholestoral, and energy level has improved! Praise God! Get your Kangen Water at our HOSPITALITY counter before or after services!
