Awaken the Lion Within

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 (NLT)

1. BREAK THE ENTANGLEMENT OF IDLENESS AND INTRIGUE

Idleness: The state and condition of being lazy and inactive. To not work or not engage in activities.

Intrigue: To arouse the interest, desire or curiosity in a person. To captivate or entangle.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1 (NKJV)

2. KNOW YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST! BE BOLD AND STRONG FOR THE LORD!

The Righteous are as BOLD as a LION. Proverbs 28:1 (NIV)

Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV)

3. LIVE FOR THE CAUSE OF CHRIST AND ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

David said…”Is there not a cause?” 1 Samuel 17:29 (KJV)

The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)

2. What area is God wanting you to awaken and strengthen in this season of your life? Read Ephesians 6 about the Armor of God and share how you will apply these scriptures to your life.

3. Are you living for the “Cause of Christ” and advancing the Kingdom of God? In what ways are you doing this? If not, what steps of obedience will you take in your life to make the changes?
