Dear Friends and Family (Ohana):
May I encourage you to be intentional about keeping a healthy balance in your life. What I mean is that, we are often engaged in good deeds that meet OTHER’S pressing needs so that they will not be unfruitful. “Our people must learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.” (Titus 3:14).
However, I’ve learned that I also need to be engaged in good deeds to meet MY OWN pressing needs, so that I will not become unfruitful. That may seem selfish at first glance. But, catch this: One pressing need for people is their own health and wellness. In other words, if we don’t do our best to take care of our own pressing need like health and wellness, we will not be able to engage in good deeds to meet the pressing needs of others even if we wanted to.
Let’s be intentional about keeping a healthy balance in our lives. This way, we will be ABLE and ready for Jesus to use us in ways never thought possible, and for as long as possible!
HANALEI SANTOS (Youth Director), and our YOUTH CHURCH are doing an awesome job to RAISE FUNDS to offset cost for the 30 plus campers going to CAMP in a couple of weeks. They are selling FIREWORKS at 3399 S. Durango even in this summer heat til July 4th! Drop on by, encourage them, and purchase some fireworks! I tried spinning the sign, and doing fancy tricks (see photo above), but it’s harder than I thought!
Plus, our YOUTH CHURCH is going to the next level! They worked hard and expanded their stage last week, and are planning to add more stage lights! They are serious about reaching their generation for Jesus!
Get “LIT” like fireworks at this WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE (4th of July), as PASTOR TERRY teaches us what it means to go “FROM SLAVE TO SERVANT”. Don’t miss it! Then…
On SUNDAY, our “thunder” speaker…PASTOR BAM will explode a powerful message titled “FOCUS”! Invite your family and friends, and hear the thunder roar! I know you’ll be blessed!
Our RESTROOM renovation project is moving forward! The blueprint is on its’ way to receive the necessary permits from the City, and then we’ll be getting some construction bids from licensed contractors! Stay tuned…
Don’t put off DRINKING…water that is! But, it’s not just water, it’s “what kind of water” you drink. Not all water is the same, just like not all gas you put in your car is the same. It’s not just the quantity of water, it’s the quality of water you drink. Our church has a Kangen 8 “water ionizer” that produces freshly filtered, ionized, alkaline, and micro-clustered water! Get 8.5, 9.0, or 9.5 Ph level at our Hospitality counter before and after services. “Micro-clustered”, means that the water molecules are smaller so that it is more quickly absorbed into your organs AND brings more oxygen into your blood system. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces EVERYDAY! NET proceeds go towards our church’s ADVANCE fund (which helps with building improvements, equipment purchases etc.)!
Much Love!
Pastor Kent
