Dear Friends and Family (Ohana):

“If you want to be great, become a servant”

It feels good to be served by others. In fact, it feels great! But, if you want to BE great, BEcome a servant - “…the greatest among you shall be your servant.” (Matthew 23:11).

Rather than seeking to be served, seek to serve. Look for ways to get involved, and to serve others. Do something nice to make somebody else’s day a bit brighter, and a little bit easier. A church is not great by the amount of people that attend its’ services, it’s great by the amount of people serving. That’s why “the heart of New Hope, is the heart to serve”.

Last week, my wife and I were in Washington D.C. I was invited by the President to the White House for the National Day Of Prayer! What an honor and privilege it was for me to be in the Rose Garden, with some other religious leaders - and to pray for our country, our President, and Vice President (see photo above with Vice President, Pence).

Funny thing happened. I am so used to serving, that right after the prayer service ended, I folded my chair to help put away. A security guy tapped me, and told me to put the chair down (since they had other servants to do that). I chuckled to myself, and thought “I hope he didn’t think I was taking a White House chair for a souvenir”.

Join us at our WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE, as PASTOR TERRY shares his message titled “TIME TO HIT THE GYM!”
