Dear Ohana (Family),
Jesus said, “…it is MORE blessed to give than to receive”
When we receive something, we normally say “We are blessed”. But, we are MORE blessed when we give. That’s why we celebrate ThanksGIVING! In other words, I’m thankful that I “get to” give, not I “have to give”. In other words, God gives us the ability to give, but we choose the attitude by which we give.
It’s okay to want to receive. However, when we do receive, we should receive with a grateful heart. Then, when we give, we don’t give with our hands…we give from a grateful heart. This is how God continues to give to us. He gives from His heart.
This Holiday Season, let’s make sure we give to God the measure of gratitude He deserves…because of the measure of blessings we have already received.

Early Sunday morning (November 12) is when the 58 crosses at the “Welcome To Las Vegas” sign will be removed and taken to a museum. Let’s take Jesus to the “sign”, where victims of the mass shooting, and people from all over the world are gathering. Let’s shine NEW HOPE on them!
