Dear Friends and Family (Ohana):

There’s something precious about the “Ingathering” that we read in Acts 2:37-47. Supernatural things were happening! “Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.” (Acts 2:43 NASB). What was happening was more than an ingathering of people, but an ingathering of people’s hearts relentlessly pursuing and serving the Lord, AND loving and serving one another! This was the environment in the church that produced a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs to take place.

So inviting, and attractive was this environment of the early church that the Bible says “…that day” 3,000 souls were added! This tells me that there’s a lot of people looking for an environment like the early church!

If there’s any scene in the Bible that reflects my prayer for New Hope Las Vegas, it is Acts 2:37-47 (please read). Why? It’s because I know this will get the angels in heaven to shout “Hana Hou!!”, and give our church (any church) “heaven’s standing ovation”! We’ll be able to see many people come to Jesus, and experience miracles, signs, and wonders in their lives!

Pastor BAM speaks at our WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE this week! He’ll preach a “thunder” message titled “REFRESHING MOVE”! Don’t miss it!

Talk about New Hope In Action - our church will host 200 Pastors and Leaders from the Pacific Southwest District (including our church) this coming Friday, and Saturday (Oct 19-20) for the PSW District Conference – titled “MOMENTUM”! The awesome thing is 100 NHLV volunteers will be serving and, Doing Church As A Team (DCAT) at this event! Then…it’s not over because…

YOU, and your family and friends are invited to this weekend’s very SPECIAL SUNDAY, as we are all in for a TREAT (not a trick)! Pacific Southwest DISTRICT SUPERVISOR, PASTOR FERNANDO CASTILLO will be our GUEST SPEAKER! He’ll share a powerful message titled “GOD SUSTAINS US” which will surely bless your soul! Also, our HULA team will be performing! Let’s PACK DA HOUSE, and celebrate the presence of the Holy Spirit together!

RESTROOM EXPANSION: Pastor Bam and I will be meeting with another General Contractor, and our Property Manager to explore options to complete our restroom expansion. Meanwhile, let’s continue to financially give towards the CONTRUCTION PHASE! Yes, our initial “under-estimated” goal to raise $50,000 needs to increase. But, our NHLV family (Ohana) serves a BIG GOD…and, together WE CAN get this done! We received $8,000 thus far!
