NEW Pastor’s Blog for week of October 23, 2017
Dear Ohana (Family),
There’s still time! October is “Pastor Appreciation Month”, and I want to thank all of our wonderful Pastors, and Leaders who shepherd the people of New Hope Las Vegas so well, and with such incredible hearts! Even though our volunteer leaders don’t carry the title of Pastor, they still care, pray, and watch over the souls that God entrusts us!
Let your pastors, and leaders know how much you appreciate them. It might be a little old-fashioned, but perhaps you could send a card, or go high-tech…and, send them a short message on Facebook, or text. You may think they already know how God is using them, but you’d be surprised at how often we Pastors and leaders question our effectiveness in the positions God has called us to. I know that even a few words of encouragement can make all the difference.
“Remember your leaders who have spoken God’s word to you. As you carefully observe the outcome of their lives, imitate their faith...Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Pray for us; for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, wanting to conduct ourselves honorably in everything…” (Hebrews 13:7,17-18)

CHILDREN’S DEDICATION is on Sunday! Plus, “Thunder” PASTOR BAM to speak on a message titled “HEEES BAACK!”, with a SONG SPECIAL by our very own Worship Team. Don’t miss it! INVITE your friends and family!
November 12th is when the County will be removing the 58 crosses at the “Welcome To Las Vegas” sign, and moving them to a museum. We have a SMALLER window of opportunity to take Jesus to the “sign” so to say where people from all over the world are gathering. Let’s give them NEW HOPE!
BRING CASES OF WATER AND ICE either to the Las Vegas sign, or to our CHURCH OFFICE!
