Divine Timing

  • Jul 29
  • 2 min read

There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (AMP)

Chronos – Refers to chronological time. It’s the human way of tracking life’s progress and aging.

Kairos - A divine window of opportunity. God’s right time for

something significant to occur in your life.

❖ GOD’S DELAYS ARE NOT HIS DENIALS

1. DON’T TURN GOD’S APPOINTED TIME INTO YOUR DISAPPOINTED TIME. TRUST GOD’S PERFECT TIMING.

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)

2. FAITH IS TRUSTING GOD'S CHARACTER WHEN YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND HIS CALENDAR.

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)

3. HOW TO WAIT WELL IN YOUR WAITING SEASON:

a. Trust God’s Character (God is good, wise, faithful, loving, patient, He hears our prayers, He is sovereign and in control)

b. Stay Faithful to God; Refuse to Complain

c. Keep Being Obedient

Ask Yourself:

• What is God teaching and developing within me?

• What is He removing? What is He strengthening?

• What doors is He closing?

• What relationships is He aligning?

*Write down one thing you're waiting on God for.
