“… ‘Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.’”

(Mark 10:14 NLT)

1. THE DEVIL CAN’T WIN AGAINST GOD (THE FATHER), SO HE GOES AFTER GOD’S CHILDREN

“…‘Who told you that you were naked?’...”

(Genesis 3:11 NASB)

  • WE CANNOT LET THE NEXTGEN SETTLE FOR, OR BECOME CHILDREN OF A LESSOR GOD

2. THE OLDER ALWAYS REACHED THE YOUNGER

“Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.” (Proverbs 1:8 NASB)

  • MENTOR, NOT JUST MANAGE THE NEXTGEN

3. FUTURING BEGINS IN THE PRESENT

“…Samuel said to Jesse, ‘Are these all the children?’ And he said, ‘There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he is tending sheep.’…”

(I Samuel 16:11 NASB)

4. MAKE 3 ROOMS: ROOM TO SUCCEED, ROOM TO FAIL, AND ROOM TO GROW

“Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean; but much revenue comes by the strength of the ox.”

(Proverbs 14:4 NASB)

TO THE NEXTGEN:

“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them.”

(Ecclesiastes 12:1 NIV)

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

(1 Timothy 4:12 NIV)
