Hope for the Harvest

“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”

John 4:35 NKJV

  • WHY: A HARVEST YOU DON’T REAP BECOMES A HARVEST YOU LET ROT!

1. YOU CAN’T EXPECT A HARVEST IN PLACES YOU REFUSE TO PLANT!

“He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. But He needed to go through Samaria.”

John 4:3-4 NKJV

“…and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 NKJV

2. HOPE FOR THE HARVEST REQUIRES A HEART FOR THE HARVEST!

“A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, ‘Give Me a drink.”

John 4:8 NKJV

“...‘You’re right! You don’t have a husband— for you have had five husbands, and you aren’t

even married to the man you’re living with now. You certainly spoke the truth!”

John 4:17-18 NLT

3. OBEDIENCE DOESN’T EQUAL RESULTS, OBEDIENCE EQUALS FAITHFULNESS!

“The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, ‘Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did…”

John 4:28-29 NKJV

“Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus…”

John 4:39 NLT

  • DELIVERANCE DOESN’T HAPPEN WHEN YOU LAY IT, DELIVERANCE HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAVE IT!
