I – SHOW INTEREST IN PEOPLE

You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak...

James 1:19 (NLT)

Ask questions to find out more about the person. Maintain eye contact. Smile! Make regular deposits into people’s “LOVE BANK”.

N – LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF

Let each one of us [make it a practice to] please his neighbor for his good, to build him up spiritually.

Romans 15:2 (AMP)

*Treat others as you want to be treated. Love and accept people as God does.

V – SEE EVERY PERSON AS VALUABLE

For God does not show favoritism.

Romans 2:11 (NIV)

*God sees everyone full or worth and value...so should we.

E – ENCOURAGE AND BUILD OTHERS UP

Encourage each other and build each other up.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NLT)

*Speak life and bless people with your words of encouragement.

S – SHARE WHAT YOU KNOW

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them. Proverbs 3:27 (NLT).

*Share your gifts and talents with the people at church and serving in a ministry to bless others.

T – SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE

*Invest in “Relational Currency” by spending quality time with people at church in a Victory Group; joining a ministry to meet others.

*Ask God, “Who is my Empty Chair?”

When He places someone on your heart, commit to praying for them and investing in their life.

VICTORY GROUP QUESTIONS

1. Discuss each of the INVEST points and apply it to your life.

2. How is God challenging you to invest in people’s lives? Pray for your “Empty Chair” to be filled.
