Making Good Deposits

1. PRAY AND ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE DEPOSITS INTO PEOPLE

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

3. MAKE REGULAR “GOD DEPOSITS” INTO PEOPLE’S LOVE BANK

God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5 (NIV)

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

Lord, thank You for pouring Your love into our hearts. Open our eyes to the people and opportunities You have already prepared for us. Help us to be faithful ministers and dispensers of Your love and grace. Show us where we can make GOD deposits into people's lives, and let our good works point people back to You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

LIFE GROUP QUESTIONS

1. Think of someone who made a meaningful “deposit” into your life—a word of encouragement, an act of kindness, a prayer, or simply being there when you needed them. What did they do and how did it impact you? Take the time to thank them today.

2. What does it mean to you personally to be a “Dispenser” of what God has put into your life? Why is it important that our faith is demonstrated through our actions and not just our words?

3. Who is God asking you to make a deposit into this week and what will that deposit look like? Share your testimony with someone after you have taken this step of faith.
