Misfit Miracles

God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen…that no flesh should glory in His presence.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 (NKJV)

1. GOD CHOSE YOU! DON’T DESPISE YOUR WEAKNESSES BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE YOU STRONG!

(God) said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

2. YOU ARE NOT A MIS-FIT IN GOD’S EYES; YOU’RE HIS MASTERPIECE!

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

  • DON’T FOCUS ON THE “MIS” IN YOUR LIFE; START FINDING THE “FITS” FOR YOUR LIFE

3. GOD QUALIFIES ORDINARY PEOPLE TO DO EXTRAORDINARY THINGS; GOD SEES YOUR HEART!

For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

I Samuel 16:7 (NKJV)

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT)
