CHRISTMAS IS NOT AN ACCIDENT
1. CHRISTMAS WAS FORETOLD
“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her Offspring; He will bruise and tread your head underfoot…”
(Genesis 3:15 AMP)
“PROTOEVANGELIUM” (FIRST GOSPEL)
“…Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14 NASB)
“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us…and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”
(Isaiah 9:6 NASB)
CHRISTMAS WILL HAPPEN IN BETHLEHEM
“But as for you, Bethlehem…Too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel…”
(Micah 5:2 NASB)
2. CHRISTMAS FORETOLD, IS FULFILLED
“Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David.”
(Luke 2:4 NASB)
“For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11 NASB)
3. CHRISTMAS IS SPIRITUAL, NOT SECULAR
CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT CELEBRATING THE MOST ETERNAL GIFT PROPHESIED AND PROMISED TO MANKIND
“…His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity.”
(Micah 5:2 NASB)
