“Just then a woman who had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding came up behind him. She touched the fringe of his robe, for she thought, ‘If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.’ Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, ‘Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.”

Matthew 9:20-22 NLT

1. WORSHIP IS OPTIMAL, NOT OPTIONAL!

“Then a man named Jairus, a leader of the local synagogue, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come home with him. His only daughter, who was about twelve years old, was dying...”

Luke 8:41-42 NLT

“When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.”

Mark 5:27 NKJV

2. CLOSE DOESN’T MEAN CONNECTED!

“Who touched me?’ Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, ‘Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.’ But Jesus said, ‘Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.”

Luke 8:45-46 NLT

“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings...

Malachi 4:2 NLT

3. FAILURE DOESN’T MAKE IT FINAL!

“...She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.”

Mark 5:26 NKJV

“While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, ‘Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?’ As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, ‘Do not be afraid; only believe.”

Mark 5:35-36 NKJV
