  1. A HUMBLE heart that leads to a life of HUMILITY.


For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted

Luke 14:11 NIV


Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

James 4:10 NIV


  1. PRIDE can stop us from CONFESSING wrongdoing, but Humility ALLOWS us to ADMIT when we are wrong. 


Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan replied, “The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die. 

2 Samuel 12:13 NIV


But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. 

James 4:6 NIV


  1. Humility allows us to HONOR others. 


Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord, and humility comes before honor. 

Proverbs 15:33 NIV


Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.

Proverbs 18:12 NIV
