The Inside Scoop

"And Elisha said, ‘Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.’ So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. Soon every container was full to the brim! ‘Bring me another jar,’ she said to one of her sons. ‘There aren’t any more!’ he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.”

2 Kings 4:3-6 NLT

  1. INSIDE SCOOP COMES FROM AN INSIDE SOURCE

“...Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you…”

2 Kings 4:4 NLT

“...’Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 16:17 NKJV

  1. DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE POURING, WORRY ABOUT YOUR POSITION

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

John 16:13 NKJV

  1. INSIDE SCOOPS BECOME INSIGHT SCOOPS.

“When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, ‘Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over.”

2 Kings 4:7 NLT

“But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” 1 Corinthians 2:10 NLT
