1. ADDRESS THE PROBLEM, DON’T ACCEPT THE PROBLEM!

“What can I do to help you?’ Elisha asked. ‘Tell me, what do you have in the house?’ ‘Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,’ she replied.”

2 Kings 4:2 NLT

“We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—“ 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NKJV

2. BEFORE THE OIL CAN FLOW, OBEDIENCE MUST FOURISH!

“And Elisha said, ‘Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.’ So she did as she was told...”

2 Kings 4:3-5 NLT

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.”

Psalm 23:5 NKJV

3. WHEN YOU’RE OUT OF POSITION, YOU’RE OUT FROM THE POURING!

“...Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another. Soon every container was full to the brim! ‘Bring me another jar,’ she said to one of her sons. ‘There aren’t any more!’ he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.” 2 Kings 4:5-6 NLT

“Now, therefore,’ says the LORD, ‘Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.’ So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God”

Joel 2:12-13 NKJV
