• TITHE: 10% (First Tenth) of a Believer’s gross (pre-taxed) income. It is the biblical/Kingdom minimum standard of financial contribution to their home church.

1. GOD’S TRUTH: THE TITHE IS HOLY, AND BELONGS TO THE LORD

“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s. It is holy to the Lord.”

(Leviticus 27:30 NKJV)

• GOD’S TRUTH: GOD REQUIRES THAT WE RETURN THE TITHE BACK TO HIM

“Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ Says the Lord of hosts…”

BLESSING: “…‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

CONSEQUENCE: “ ‘Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. ‘You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me…’”

ROB: (Hbr: QABA): TO DEFRAUD. Taking for one’s own something that someone else deserves or has a legitimate claim to.

2. GOD’S TRUTH: TITHING REFLECTS YOUR HEART ACCOUNT, MORE THAN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

“And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to
