1. WIN WITH PEOPLE BY SHOWING YOURSELF FRIENDLY


A man who has friends must himself be friendly.

Proverbs 18:24 (NKJV)


Traits of Integrity

Trustworthy, honest, dependable, loyal


Traits of Caring

Empathy, ability to withhold judgement, listening skills, ability to offer support, being kind to others


Traits of Likeability

Self-confident, ability to see the humor in life and fun to be around, humble and nice to people


2. LENS PRINCIPLE - WHO YOU ARE DETERMINES HOW YOU SEE OTHERS


Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3 (NIV)


3. ELEVATOR PRINCIPLE – YOU CAN LIFT PEOPLE UP OR TAKE PEOPLE DOWN IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS


WAYS TO WIN WITH PEOPLE:

1. Become genuinely interested in people

2. Smile

3. Remember that person’s name and use it in conversation

4. Be a good listener–encourage others to talk about themselves (Listen more and talk less)

5. Talk in terms of the other person’s interests (ask questions about their life)

6. Make the other person feel important and do it sincerely
