From Grieving to Greater

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

  • WHEN THE SPIRIT IS GRIEVED ON THE INSIDE, IT AFFECTS THE PERSON ON THE OUTSIDE!


2. GRIEVANCE RESULTS IN HINDRANCE.


“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8 NLT

3. YOU CAN EITHER GRIEVE THE SPIRIT OR GREET THE SPIRIT.


“A few days later Mary hurried to the hill country of Judea, to the town where Zechariah lived. She entered the house and greeted Elizabeth. At the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Luke 1:39-41 NLT
